2- Social Realism

Cinema Du Look:
-Style over Substance (Visual rather than Narrative)
-Slick visual style
-Idealistic/Fantasy element
-Entertaining
-Alienated characters

Social Realism:
-Substance over Style (Narrative over visual style)
-Realistic
-Dealt with social concerns
-Challenging/Though provoking
-Alienated characters
E.g- La Haine (Hate), A Prophet
